Cogniform gives MCP tools images without replacing the observation
CF083 adds opt-in diagnostic PNGs for four observation kinds. A complete-image bound and atomic result preparation preserve the canonical resource contract.

Color · Depth · World normals · Entity IDs
- Validate request. Reject visibility PNG before service creation.
- Prepare both views. Canonical envelope first, then optional PNG up to 1 MiB.
- Commit complete result. Replace retained resource only after every step succeeds.
Omitting presentation preserves the previous result shape. Failed image preparation preserves the previous retained resource. Display colors can collide, and PNG work is cooperatively bounded rather than preemptible. This diagram is not a new rendered capture.
CF083 / PR #84 merged on 6 October in Australia/Sydney. Color, depth, normals and entity IDs can opt into presentation: png. Omission keeps the existing text and canonical resource-link result unchanged. Visibility PNGs reject before service creation.
A shared observation-owned encoder caps complete PNGs at 1 MiB. The adapter prepares the canonical envelope, then optional image, then complete result; only success replaces the retained resource. Image failure preserves the previous resource. Exact values, identities and causal metadata remain authoritative in COGOBS01.
Diagnostic colors can collide, encoding is cooperatively bounded rather than preemptible, and cross-adapter image bytes are not a conformance contract. There is no new remote authority or persistence. This is a source-derived contract diagram, not a newly executed renderer capture.
